Per tradition, Mommy picked up donuts in celebration of Harry Potter’s birthday today! Then, pool, tie-dye, and ending the day with actual movie theater popcorn and a movie at home.

Yard Sale ✅
Well, Rosie picked the hottest day with the highest amount of gnats flying around to have her yard sale! She was able to donate over $150 of her proceeds and goods (and only paid herself $20 for the 10 minutes she actually spent outside selling stuff— thank you Nana and Mommy for taking one for the team.) She met some neighbors, which was the whole reason for the yard sale in the first place. So, SUCCESS!
Splash Pad + Last Meet
Another item off of the bucket list (splash pad) and Rosies last swim meet of the summer! We don’t know results yet, but pretty sure this was her best meet yet!
Pedicures!
All the girls went for pedicures today!
Whistlestop Cafe
Actually named Irondale Cafe, RBG visited the one and only “Whistlestop Cafe” as depicted in the movie “Fried Green Tomatoes.” It literally sits on the railroad tracks abs had delicious southern food— plus glass bottled cokes!
The Mantis
Rosie B found a praying mantis today, and now affectionately calls him Jeffery (yes, she chose to spell it that way to be ‘different’.) And of course she got some swimming in with a friend, followed by yummy burgers.
Adventures
Rosie and Daddy had a few more adventures together before heading back home today. Rosie returned safely and is absolutely exhausted, and had a wonderful time (with too much tv and candy, for sure) with just her and Daddy all weekend.
Wolf Pack
Rosie is living it up on her trip alone with Daddy that she requested on her Summer Bucket List. She chose a trip to Great Wolf Lodge.
Olympics!
RBG was so happy to wake up and see the Olympics Opening Ceremony and watch Team USA walk in! 🇺🇸 Then, since it finally stopped raining, she headed straight to the pool !
Float the River *Lite*
Rosie’s closing in on the end of summer, so she’s working her way through the rest of her summer bucket list as fast as she can! Today, she floated through Turkey Creek. *the water was super high and rough because of all of the rain the last few days, and Mommy doesn’t love water she can’t see through OR snakes OR bugs… so, Rosie took what she could get. She still had fun and Mommy was happy they both survived.
