Halloween 2023 was one for the books! So much fun winning third place in the group costume contest at school (Alice + Queen of Hearts + Mad Hatter), then super awesome parade before trick or treating with friends. Daddy and Penny were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and Mommy was low-key Cheshire Cat.
Today was “the night before Halloween” day at school, which is a fancy way of saying “pajama day!”
This afternoon was perfect for a quick trail walk with Penny.
Today did NOT go as expected, but RBG made the best of it. We were supposed to be at cousin MJs baptism in Dothan, but on the way, our tire blew out and thwarted our plans to make it to Dothan. After fixing the tire sitch,(way to go, Dad!) she and Mama went to Red Robin (fave!) and then she got to attend the church Trunk or Treat she hadn’t originally been able to attend. To give the Queen of Hearts costume a brief rest, she wore Maleficent!
Today was “rhyme without reason” day at school, so Rosie and her friend dressed as “tweedle dum” and “green thumb.” Then tonight, it was off to the school Halloween festival!
Rosie and Penny took a nice evening stroll tonight!
